Joan Vich, 100 x 100 cm, oil on canvas. Original painting by the painter Joan Vich, where he shows his skill with the brush and the palette knive, developing from the use of these two tools the light contrasts that create the leaves of the quince tree and the same fruits, resolved from yellow colors, green and touches of blue, contrasting with a pink background that balances the nuances of the composition.
One of the most developed themes by Joan Vich is the representation of flowers and fruits, both in its nature and from still lifes, always with very different materials and techniques that demonstrate their professionalism and skill in different pictorial fields. In this work we find the representation of a quince tree, which allows the use of colors that oscillate between different shades of green, as well as yellows and touches of rose that create a tonal balance throughout the composition. The use of the palette knive with light colors gives luminosity to the fruits, establishing the points of light on the canvas. The painting is in perfect condition.
